Every two years, Lions from around the world come together for three phenomenal days of extraordinary learning, sharing and celebration. In September 2016, the pride will gather in historic Washington, DC. We will hear from some of today's most respected speakers in the fields of religion, culture, art, business and politics on issues affecting our Jewish community at home and abroad. Come engage in tzedakah and marshal your power to invigorate the Jewish world.
The 2016 ILOJC will take place in Washington, DC from September 11-13. It will begin in the early evening of Sunday, September 11 and will end very late on Tuesday, September 13. Departures should be planned for Wednesday, September 14, 2016.
The conference hotel is the Washington Hilton, located at 1919 Connecticut Ave. NW, Washington, DC, 20009.
Located in the heart of the city, the Washington Hilton hotel is near the Adams Morgan, Woodley Park and U Street Corridor neighborhoods, four blocks from the DuPont Circle Metro.
The ILOJC website will always have the most up-to-date program details. We will post more speakers and program details to this site as soon as they are confirmed.
The 2016 registration fee is $999 and includes all programs and meals except dinner on Monday night—a free night on the town when you can have dinner with old friends or new at a restaurant you choose.
Registration cancellations must be received in writing to ILOJC@wyndhamjade.com. Cancellations received before June 1, 2016 will be refunded less a $100 processing fee. Cancellations received between June 1 and July 1, 2016 will be refunded less a $300 processing fee. Any cancellation received after July 1 will not be refunded.

When you complete your conference registration, you’ll be prompted to book your hotel reservation. Please contact ILOJC@wyndhamjade.com with any housing changes. We have secured a room rate of $239 per night at the Washington Hilton. The room rates are per night for a single or double room, plus taxes and fees.
To receive the ILOJC room rate, you will need to register for your hotel as part of your online conference registration. You will not receive our discounted rate if you contact the hotel directly.

If you are sharing a room, please have only one roommate register for the room and note the other as a roommate. Please note that if one roommate cancels, the remaining person will be charged for a single-person room.
At this time, all suites have been reserved.
You will be charged a non-refundable first-night hotel fee as a deposit upon registration, even if you cancel your conference registration. There are no exceptions to this policy. Hotel cancellations must be received in writing to ILOJC@wyndhamjade.com.
Suites must be pre-paid in full and are non-refundable.
The hotel also has an early check-out fee; those who check out earlier than their reserved check out date will have a one-night room and tax charge added to their folio. Please note that if one roommate in a double room cancels, the remaining person will be charged for a single-person room.
Dress is business casual. You may wish to dress up for the evening programs and your “free night” on the town! Given the late summer/early autumn weather, we recommend that you bring a light jacket and/or raincoat for outside as well as a sweater or a shawl to wear inside because of air conditioning.
All meals provided at the ILOJC are under kosher supervision. In addition, kosher snacks are available for purchase in the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf coffee shop in the Hilton lobby, which is open from 5:30 AM-7:00 PM.

Taxis are a reliable form of transportation to and from the conference hotel and all Washington, DC area hotels A taxi will cost approximately $25 from Reagan National Airport, $75 from Dulles International Airport and $90 from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.

ILOJC will have pop-up shops featuring various vendors. Our generous vendors will donate 10% of the total of all goods sold to The Jewish Federations of North America in support of the work of the Annual Campaign. Check back in the coming months for a list of vendors.
This is a special luncheon to celebrate women who increase their gift to the next Lion of Judah level for the 2017 Annual Campaign. Please note, this event is invitation only.
September continues to be a warm month in Washington, DC, but the evenings can be a bit cooler. The average daily temperature is 72° F or 22° C. We suggest that you bring a sweater or light jacket.
