As Director of Young Leadership for The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, Sarah Arenstein oversees programming and initiatives for young adults in their 20s and 30s. She is also a certified 21/64 Trainer, consulting with families on multi-generational philanthropic engagement and facilitating a network of next generation donors who are exploring their identity as well as their impact. Sarah previously served as a Birthright Israel NEXT professional at Federation, developing and implementing programs and strategies for engaging Birthright Israel alumni upon their return from Israel, as well as planning the Taglit-Birthright Israel: DC Community Trips.
Sarah has worked at Federation since 2009 and is passionate about engaging young adults in the work Federation does to build community and care for those in need locally, in Israel and around the world. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Sarah received a B.S. in Communication from Boston University in 2009.
