Yavilah McCoy

CEO and Executive Director

Yavilah McCoy is the CEO of VISIONS Inc. in Boston. She is also the founder of Ayecha, one of the first nonprofit Jewish organizations to provide Jewish Diversity education and advocacy for Jews of Color in the United States. Yavilah is an educator, activist and spiritual teacher who has worked extensively within multi-faith communities to increase racial justice and expand equity and inclusion. Yavilah is a certified coach for the Auburn Theological Seminary's Pastoral Coach Training Program and was voted as one of "16 Faith Leaders to Watch" for the Center for American Progress in Washington. Yavilah is a certified trainer for the A World of Difference Institute, National Coalition Building Institute, and the National Center for Community and Justice. Through her dedicated work at VISIONS Inc., Yavilah provides consulting services to a wide spectrum of agencies and communities. She currently lives in Boston with her husband and four children.
