Amanda currently oversees JQ's internal operations, finances, grants, Persian programming, staff, board development and assists in directing the JQ Helpline. Outside of JQ, Amanda is the Founder and CEO of The Kid Possible Company™, an inspirational health and education start-up for kids. Born and raised in LA, she studied at Harvard-Westlake School (’04), UCLA (B.S. ’08), and Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv (M.D. ’15). She is a member of Sinai Temple and former student at Sinai Akiba Academy. In her free time she enjoys playing basketball, martial arts (black belt in karate), and founded Maccabi Los Angeles, the local chapter of the worldwide Jewish elite athletic organization, Maccabi World Union. This past May, Amanda participated in the Jewish Federations of North America's LGBTQ Mission to Israel.
