Etta Gross Zimmerman has served the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County in numerous key capacities, chairing campaign, major gifts, and, planning and allocations before taking the helm as Chair of the Board of Directors from 2005 to 2007. Prior to moving to South Palm Beach County, she held leadership roles at the Federations in Atlanta and Nashville. Etta served on the UJC National Women's Philanthropy Board, as a previous Campaign Chair for the International Lion of Judah Conference and is a Wexner Heritage Program alumnus. Deeply engaged with the global Jewish community, Etta has been an American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) Board Member since 2002.
Etta is currently Vice Chair of Resource Development at the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County, serves on the Executive Committee of JDC, and previously held an array of leadership roles with JDC. She has traveled extensively throughout the world to various JDC programs, and frequently speaks of her travels, using her talent for photojournalism to engage audiences about imperative overseas needs and programs.Etta is married to Raymond Zimmerman and is the proud mother of Leya Edelstein.
