Odelia Shpitalni is an attorney who has influenced the lives of hundreds of underprivileged kids for the better by founding PUSH, an Israeli nonprofit organization which brings volunteers and teachers into the schools of less affluent neighborhoods to tutor children, thus giving them a push. She chairs the organization, which has 1,500 volunteers in 280 schools in 38 towns around the country. The organization tutors over 3,500 children.
Odelia graduated from Tel Aviv University, and holds a Master in Public Administration (MPA) from Harvard University. Odelia’s achievements with the PUSH organization were recognized by the Israel President’s Award by Shimon Peres and the Award of the Minister of Social Welfare for outstanding volunteers. Odelia is a member of Lion of Judah Israel, the International Women’s Forum and the International Board of the Weizmann Institute. She sings with the Chamber Choir of Ramat Gan. She is married and is the mother of three daughters.
