Yotam Polizer has over 10 years of experience in education, humanitarian aid and international development. He is currently the global partnership director and the Psycho Social Support (PSS) Coordinator of IsraAID’s Aid & Development projects. Following the September 2015 refugee crisis in Europe, Yotam led a humanitarian mission in Lesbos, Greece to support the Syrian refugees. Yotam also established IsraAID Germany, IsraAID's German branch providing long term support for Yazidi and Syrian refugees.
During the 2015 earthquake in Nepal, Yotam led a rescue, education, psycho social and medical mission in the affected areas. Since the September 2014 Ebola outbreak in West Africa, Yotam has been leading IsraAID's psycho social and educational program in Sierra Leone for Ebola survivors, health workers, and affected communities. Yotam has built and lead psycho education programs in Japan after the 2011 earthquake and tsunami, in the Philippines after Typhoon Haiyan in 2013, and in South Korea to support the reintegration of North Korean defectors.
Yotam holds a double B.A in International Relations and African studies from Tel Aviv University and Israel's Open University and is fluent in Hebrew, English, Nepalese and Japanese.
