She graduated with a BA in bilingual education from the University of Texas, and earned an MA in education (learning disabilities) from the University of Haifa. She worked as an English teacher for kids with learning disabilities and joined World ORT Kadima Mada in 2014.
Today, Michal works at World ORT Kadima Mada as Head of Desk Pedagogy and is leading a new nationwide pilot program, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education. The program focuses on training teachers to teach English as a foreign language using a study-based method for cracking the Alphabetic Code. In accordance with Kadima Mada's aim to bridge the gaps between populations in Israel through education, the program operates in Israel's geographical and social periphery, addressing the needs of underprivileged students.
Michal is passionate about helping Israeli students breach the English language barrier in order to allow them to become an integral part of our globalized society.
