Dr. Noah Kauff is the director of the Ovarian Cancer Screening and Prevention Program in the Gynecology Service, Department of Surgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He is also an associate attending physician on the Clinical Genetics Service in the Department of Medicine.
Dr. Kauff’s research interests include the role of genetic counseling on the evaluation and management of women with an inherited predisposition to cancer; the efficacy and impact of risk-reducing surgery performed for the prevention of breast and ovarian cancer; and the identification of genetic and environmental markers that will allow both therapeutic and risk-reduction strategies to be tailored to individual patients at increased risk for cancer.
