Avital Ingber is the chief development officer for the Financial Resource Development Department and managing director of the United Jewish Endowment Fund at The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, DC. She oversees the strategy and procurement of all philanthropic resources for the organization. Prior to this role, Avital served as the managing director of Financial Resource Development , where she spent two years building Federation’s Network, a place for business and civic leaders to connect to Federation.
Previously, as director of Young Leadership at the Federation, Avital spent four years creating programming and engagement tools for Jewish young adults. She partnered with Birthright Israel NEXT DC to develop initiatives for the nearly 10,000 alumni in the DC area.
Before she joined Federation, Avital worked for a communications firm doing marketing and corporate partnerships for non-profits and foundations. This past spring, she received her Executive Masters in Leadership from the Georgetown School of Business.
