Sarah Bernstein Solomon is the director of Young Leadership at the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia. Before joining the Federation, Sarah worked in the music industry. An alumna of a leadership development program at her local Federation, Sarah made the transition from lay leader to professional and hasn’t looked back!
Sarah grew up in the Reform movement. Throughout her teenage years she participated in NFTY, the Reform youth movement, and was the president of her synagogue youth group. She attended URJ Camp Harlam where she now sits on the alumni development board.
As graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Sarah was active in Hillel and served as vice president of Alpha Epsilon Phi, where she worked to connect the Greek Life system to Hillel programming. She is also a Birthright Israel alumna and has staffed seven young leadership missions to Israel since. Sarah and her husband Scott live in Center City Philadelphia.
