Joanna Lieberman is a graduate of the Israeli ministry of foreign affairs diplomatic seminar for young Jewish leadership. She also serves on the Cornell University Hillel young alumni steering committee, the tri-state area Masa alumni board, and is an active member of the New York City JDC Entwine planning group—having traveled to Kazakhstan and Ethiopia with JDC Entwine.
Joanna joined the American Jewish Committee (AJC), professionally in October 2010 and is currently the assistant director of leadership development and board engagement. As assistant director, Joanna works closely with AJC’s national board of governors and on national leadership development initiatives to engage current leaders and to help find, identify and recruit new leadership on a national level.
Her previous positions at AJC included serving as the national coordinator for events and leadership initiatives and coordinator in the former leadership and board services department.
Joanna earned a B.S. in human development from Cornell University with a concentration in cognitive studies.
