Hannah has broad experience working with the Jewish community at different ages worldwide.

Director, Isha Project

Hannah Soltz-Aharony assumed the position of director of the Isha Project for the Jewish Agency in December 2006. She brings to this position broad experience working with the Jewish community at different ages worldwide. From 2004 to 2006, as the community shlicha in Palm Beach, Florida Hannah was the Israel Program Center director and produced and ran community-wide events. Her responsibilities included speaking engagements, working with different committees, marketing, fundraising, supervising staff, budgeting, developing new projects and programs, organizing missions and tips to Israel.

From 2001 to 2004, Hannah was the executive director of the World Union of Jewish Students. Prior to this time she worked in a number of Jewish educational positions including associate program director of the Bronfman Center: Mifgashim for the Israel Experience and educational director for the Israel Experience.  She also served as a shlicha in London, England. Before joining the Jewish Agency, Hannah was deputy director and program coordinator for the Ba’aka Community Center in Jerusalem. Hannah holds a BA and MA in Social Work from Hebrew University. She is married and has two children.
