Joyce D. Mandell, a Lion of Judah for more than 20 years, is a successful businesswomen and philanthropist who is actively involved in civic, arts and cultural organizations. She is the producer of “The Rescuers,” her fourth documentary film working with Emmy Award film maker Michael King. Joyce is committed to social activism. She is involved with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Hartford, the Greater Hartford Arts Council and the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford. She is a board member of the JCCA of North America and was the first woman president and chair of the Board of the Mandell JCC. She presently serves as a member of the board of directors of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center and chairs the Quality in Medical Care Committee. She and her husband are founders of the Mandell Center for Comprehensive MS Care and Neuroscience Research at Mount Sinai Hospital in Hartford. Joyce is the co -founder of Data-Mail, Inc.
